Number 6! Which for me, is
A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway. That is perfect, because this time of year I always miss my time in Paris. I've also started working on my book that is set in Paris again. And my Kindle has apparently bitten the dust, so I'm glad to be reading a book I have a hard copy of until I can get my poor baby replaced. Did any of you do the spin? Were you pleased with the result?
Hope you enjoy it., I haven't read Moveable Feast. The only Hemingway I've read so far is The Sun Also Rises which I didn't quite care for. I got Robinson Crusoe for the spin, have you read it?
ReplyDeleteOooh, Robinson Crusoe's one of my favourites! I found it surprisingly easy to get into, and we all know ENOUGH of the story and the imagery to get us off to a good imaginative start. Hope you enjoy it Tanya!
DeleteWoohoo! I'm really looking forward to The Moveable Feast (PARIIIIIIIS!)... though since I've been saying that for about seven years now, I should probably get on it at some point. It's there on my shelves waiting, so there's really no excuse! Hope you enjoy it, I'll await your verdict so I know whether to boost it up the pile. :)
ReplyDeleteI kind of regret I didn't add The Moveable Feast to my Classics Club list... but that doesn't mean, of course, that I cannot read it :)) Hope you enjoy! I got Villette from Charlotte B. and very excited for this one.
ReplyDeleteGlad that you got a book you are excited for :)
ReplyDeleteI got Rebecca and the more I think about it, the more I am looking forward to it.
