In My Mailbox: June 2011

Monday, July 11, 2011

I am a little behind for this month's In My Mailbox, but I have received several fantastic books so I am excited to list them out. Unfortunately, I am again strapped for time and unable to make a vlog for this month, but I wanted to keep things documented. SO...

Borrowed from the library:
The Bird Sisters by Rebecca Rasmussen
Princess-In-Training by Meg Cabot
Abandon by Meg Cabot (audiobook)

Purchased
The Winter Rose by Jennifer Donnelly
Believing Christ by Stephen E. Robinson
Essays by Francis Bacon

Won
84 Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff

ARCs
The Locksmith by Lafe Metz
The Book Blogger's Cookbook by Christy Dorrity
Before Ever After by Samantha Sotto
American Dervish by Ayad Akhtar

NetGalley
Tris and Izzy by Mette Ivie Harrison
Girl in Shades by Allison Baggio
The Revisionists by Thomas Mullen

Borrowed
Something Borrowed (haha) and Something Blue by Emily Giffin from my sis.-in-law

In other words... I should be reading, not doing homework! Oh well, that's life.
PS: Thank you, Story Siren, for hosting.

  1. You definitely have a lot of great reading choices! I particularly liked The Bird Sisters. Rasmussen's writing style was really enjoyable, and the story was quite moving. Hope you enjoy!

@Sweetest Little Bookworm - I'm so excited to read it! I probably won't get to it until later this year as it doesn't come out until January but I am looking forward to it.

    @Kristin - I haven't either - I need to get into it!
